Tracing Qin and Han Through Cinema

This programme features a series of representative works set in the Qin and Han dynasties, including the opening film The Great Conqueror’s Concubine (1994) (4K Digitised Version) which focuses on the rivalry between Xiang Yu and Liu Bang, while Red Cliff (2008) and Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon (2008) dramatise the personalities of the Three Kingdoms period.  Through A Terra-Cotta Warrior (1990) and Dream Lovers (1986), we are taken on riveting journeys of imagination, experiencing the vibrance of Hong Kong cinema.
