‘The History and Art of Tea’ Exhibition

The exhibition embraces an ‘immersive cultural experience, features multiple thematic zones related to tea culture, giving public a tea exploratory journey from the legends of Shennong to contemporary world.  A single tea leaf can nourish civilisation and inspire philosophical reflection.  The exhibition displays the historical journey of tea’s global dissemination along the Silk Road, while vividly recreating iconic scenes, such as the tea whisking techniques and tools used in the Song dynasty.  Filled with the refreshing aromas of diverse teas, the exhibition transforms tea into a storyteller that transcends time and space.  This exhibition includes seminars, keynote lectures, tea arts demonstration and guided tours, bringing public to appreciate the charm of Chinese tea culture from multiple perspectives.
