Chinese culture has a long history and music is a profound medium for people to communicate. The organiser believes that ‘Hong Kong thrives when culture thrives’ and aspires to support and promote Chinese cultural and artistic exchanges through this music event. A celebrated ensemble of singers and artists have been invited to join in celebrating the prosperity of our motherland. In the line-up are Warren Mok, Chan Wing-wah, Mui Kwong-chiu, Yao Jue, Leung Kin-fung, Alex Tam, Cally Kwong Mei-wan, Alan Tam Wing-lun, Agnes Chan Mei-ling, Gigi Yim, Cheng Wai, Zhang Chongxue, Ricky Yeung Wai-kit, Mak Ka-lok, Kenny Koo, Mao Qinghua, Zhao Taisheng, Tung Hiu-lo, Leon Tong, Johnny Yim, youth and children choirs and Global Symphony Orchestra. All traditional and modern music in Ode to China are created by Chinese composers and lyricists.
