2024 marks the 105th birth anniversary of Yin Guifang. Three leading performers, including Wang Junan, Yin’s fifth-generation disciple, Li Min and Zheng Quan, will embody the elegant roles created by Yin. The Jade Dragonfly is a work tailor-made for Wang Junan by Yin Guifang telling the story of an undying love and the reunion between mother and son. Liu Yong is another representative work of Wang, with which she won the China Theatre Plum Blossom Award. The Troupe will also be presenting a number of classic opera excerpts.
